Dr. med. Robert Asmar is an experienced expert in modern diagnostic imaging procedures. He was educated at reputable German universities and major municipal clinics and worked as leading senior consultant in Radiology at a famous German clinic for spinal surgery. He gained long-standing experience in all fields of medical imaging, in particular in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRI). Since several years he is also appointed as Assistant Head of the commission of Radiology for the association of statutory health insurance physicians. Since 1998 he is Managing Partner and Director of the well-known Institute for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Adickesallee, Frankfurt with 12 subsidiaries within the Rhine-Main region and more than 100 employees. He was educated and trained at various renowned university hospitals, amongst others the Hamburg Institute of Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine. His current clinical and research interests focus on Reproductive Medicine, uterine fibroids, osteoporosis as well as cancer treatment induced bone loss (CIBL). Prof. Hadji is a member of several international societies and the co-author of several national and international guidelines. Moreover, he is vice president of the German umbrella association for osteology (DVO) and the former vice president of the German Menopause Society. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in these fields. In 2006, he was appointed as a full Professor of Medicine at the Philipps-University of Marburg. Professor Dr. med. Elke Jäger is a highly reputable specialist in the field of oncology and hematology. Besides her leading position as Director of the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology of a well-know hospital in Frankfurt/Main, she is appointed as Chair of Interdisciplinary Oncology at Goethe University Frankfurt. Professor Jäger is an expert in systemic treatments of malignant diseases, chemotherapy as well as novel targeted therapies and immunotherapy, including cancer vaccines. PD Dr. med. Ralf-Christian Lerche is a highly-reputable expert in cataract and refractive surgery and has gained enormous experience in this field in about 40.000 surgeries. He is specialized for refractive laser treatments like ReLEx, LASIK, LASEK and PRK as well as for all kind of intraocular lens implantations like phakic IOL (ICL), catarcat surgery (FLACS) and refractive lens exchange with premium IOL (multifocal and toric IOL) to treat presbyopia or any refractive error. Dr. Lerche was educated as ophthalmologist in Germany and Austria and absolved research work in Columbia and Denmark. As Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of refractive surgery he worked for more than 10 years at the University Hospital Hamburg, Germany. In 2005 he joined the biggest private clinic group for refractive surgery in Germany and became Associate Medical Director. Dr. Lerche is listed as approved and recommended eye-surgeon (TÜV & ISO) as well as LASIK-trainer for the Commission of Refractive Surgery (KRC) in Germany. He has worked many years as leading senior physician at university hospitals, where he is still welcome as academic lecturer. Prof. Schofer has published more than 100 medical papers and over 500 talks so far. For his excellent work he has already won numerous research awards. Prof. Dr. med. Horst Sievert is an internationally respected expert on the subject of Interventional Cardiology. Prof. Sievert has one of the largest experiences worldwide in catheter closure of heart defects in adults and gets referrals from all over the world. For his work he received many international scientific awards. Nowadays, he is leading a well-known CardioVascular Center and is Director of the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine of a hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. He is also a Professor of Internal Medicine/Cardiology at the University of Frankfurt, Honorary Professor at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and Chelmsford, UK and Visiting Full Professor at the University California San Francisco, USA. Prof. Dr. med. Till Sprenger is an acknowledged expert in the fields of multiple sclerosis and other inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system, neuropathic pain and headache disorders/migraine. Prof. Dr. med. Timo Stöver is a leading international expert in the field of hearing disorders, specializing in cochlear implantation and other hearing implants. Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Walther is an expert in cardiac surgery with an excellent national and international reputation. He has personally performed many thousand open heart surgical procedures including all different therapeutic approaches for adult cardiac disease and many congenital cardiac surgical procedures during his training. Prof. Walther is performing all different types of cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting using complete arterial revascularization, aortic valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacement and combinations thereof. A special focus of his work is on using less invasive minimally invasive techniques for all different approaches, especially in the field of minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve surgery. Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Zeuzem is a highly acknowledged specialist in the fields of gastroenterology and hepato-biliary diseases. His clinical expertise comprises gastroenterology, hepatology, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary oncology, metabolic diseases, endoscopy and (endo)sonography. Prof. Zeuzem is Chief of the Department of Medicine at the University Hospital Frankfurt, Germany. He is member of the Frankfurt Vasectomy Center, Master of Science of the University of York, United Kingdom and Associate Professor of Urology at the University hospital Mainz. During his professional education he focused on the reconstructive surgery of the urinary tract and completed subspecialty training in pediatric urology at Regensburg University Medical Center. Dr. Rubenwolf is Fellow of the European Academy of Pediatric Urology (FEAPU) and Fellow of the European Board in Urology (FEBU).
